There's a vehicle parked out front of our building that I've seen around town, and it epitomizes what's wrong with this country. It's one of those huge Hummer H2s, school bus yellow, with a Tonka-sized mini of itself mounted on the roof, chrome wheels, and more. What this person is saying to me is first, "I have too much money" and second, "fuck the environment." What a pig.

Lopsy met me at work today, and we went down to Gayle's Thyme in CT. She's never been there before, but she's good friends with the owners. She loved it, which I knew she would. She even bought some plants! I bought a tea strainer and some tangerine essential oil. Then we went to Olive Garden for lunch. It was fun! Nice to get out of the office for a couple hours (with the boss' consent, of course). She remarked on the nice little park down the street; I told her I go there for lunch often. You know, I haven't seen the swans in a few days; I wonder where they are? Or maybe they're building a nest? Wouldn't that be cool! Little swans! What are little swans called again? Signets? Cygnets? Swanlings? Ugly ducklings?

Can you tell I'm tired?
