I'm melting!

Argh. Still hot. Stupid landlord hasn't called me back yet. I'll call him twice tomorrow.

As tired as I was last night, I had trouble getting to sleep. I got up at one point and wet my hair to cool off a bit. That helped. I left the shades down all day (sorry, plants!) and it wasn't quite as bad in here, but still far from comfortable. A cool shower should remedy that. For a while, at least.

We had a too-long meeting about selling the web pages today. Actually, it was pretty interesting, but a dozen or so people in the conference room for an hour and a half make for stuffiness. I was trying desperately not to nod off!

Some thunderstorms blew through a while ago. The strong ones seem to have missed us; they went more northerly. Maybe things will cool down a bit now. Hey, I can hope, can't I?
