another swan update

Well, the swans are parents! Which means, of course, that the town might get fined again. But, there's a cygnet! Just one. It looks so cute, gliding along with its parents. It looks like there will be a photo layout in next week's paper; I happened to see one of the artists walking around with a proof. Hee! If so, I will post a link.

It's friggin' cold here in the office. When I walk back from the other part of the building, I can really feel the difference. Fortunately, I keep my pashmina here to throw over my shoulders. There's a blower right above my desk.

OK, enough whining. ;) At least we have a/c! Donna from the town offices (who sends me legal notices to publish) told me they don't even have it. That would be infinitely worse. Especially in this muggy heat we've been having so much of lately.

The weather report for the weekend looks fabulous! Perfect for Ren Faires and pool parties. Both of which I will be going to. Yay!
