(no subject)

I had a fun and productive day yesterday. I managed to clean out my car, which had become a repository for all sorts of things from socks to soda cans. Then I rolled down the windows to air it out, and sprayed the seats & carpets with Febreze. Today, perhaps I will wash the windows & dash.

Then I did a load of laundry, tackling the pile of clothes I had let build up. It was a kind of grit your teeth, roll up your sleeves day.

The monthly Women of Wands meet-up was at 3, so I set off to go to Holyoke. On the way to the Pike, I saw one of the planes from the air show doing its aerial acrobatics, and it was just amazing! He was going really fast, coming almost straight down and then going around a corner. When I caught sight of him again, he was doing a loop waaaaaaaay up. It was thrilling! How fearless that pilot must be.

The meet-up was fun. We talked about all sorts of topics, including the Flying Spaghetti Monster (www.venganza.org) and more camp stories. I think we have G convinced she should come next year, although I really can't picture her camping for a week. It was probably all the stories of naked men that got her. ;)

Then Cymbri & I went to Hudson for Conjure Cinema. Good to see lots of friends, including spinningwheels and textiletart. The shorts were hysterical, as usual, and the movie was actually not a bad one, although it was long and when I went for some water, I didn't go back up but sat out on the porch discussing bees and stuff with some other drop-outs. I got lots of hugs & kisses from honeys on the way out (including an ice cream kiss from James!) and then it was homeward bound. It was nice to have someone to ride with me & keep me awake on the drive home! Finally got to bed after 1, which is way past my bedtime. (Leena, that episode of Angel with Summer Glau was on!)

Today, I might go down to the Taste of the World and see what's happening. Magickal Spirit has moved again, right near where he used to be, so I might go hang out with John and talk about maybe doing some classes and/or guided visualizations that I've been wanting to do for a while now. He has space in the new place for such things, and I know Aurora is going to be doing classes there, too.

OK, off to get some breakfast and read some more of my book!
