(no subject)

There were only four people (plus instructor) at yoga tonight. It was a nice class. I'm enjoying the gentle class much better; not so hard on my body. I like this instructor, too. She said tonight that she was 61; I would have thought she was 10 years younger.

Finished Smoke and Mirrors today (short story collection from Neil Gaiman). I have to say that I am surprised this was in the YA section-- I don't think anyone read it before putting it there! Some spicy stuff in it. Maybe some gawky teen will learn something. ;)

I'm still getting used to the new setup at work. Still not sure that I like it. I like my space, just not where it's located. I have to listen to the people who come in to complain about their carriers. Sheesh people, it's a free paper! Get a life.

Don't remember if I mentioned this yet, but the paper got a letter complaining about the story on Pride. Mike was very proud of it; if he doesn't piss off some readers now and then, he gets disappointed. I posted something on our local list asking folks to write in support of the story. Working at a newspaper has its perks.
