Oy! Today is another one of those days where everyone has a problem, and they want to know (right now!) what I'm going to do to fix it for them. Yeah yeah, right after I fix the forty-two other problems I've gotten today. It's not quite that bad, but almost. I had one on the phone and one at the counter a little while ago. The fact that it's Monday doesn't make it any easier. Yeesh...

The trees are mostly bare all of a sudden. Seems like most of the leaves blew off over the weekend. Not that they were all that spectacular, but I wasn't ready for them to go just yet. Now it really feels like November. Very windy today; I don't envy all the folks trying to rake leaves today.

Last night's Desperate Housewives was boooooooring. That's such a disappointment; last year, I couldn't wait for each episode, and each one was a scream. I hate to say it, but it's feeling like they've jumped the shark after only one season. My coworker Martine agrees about last night's ep. Dull, dull, dull.
Hey, I have exciting news from editorial-- Mike is going to be interviewing Carol Cleveland tomorrow! She's coming to town for a convention. If you have to ask who CC is, you're just not cool. I'm sorry. Think "grail-shaped beacon" and spankings.
Diane is prattling on about something and I have no idea what she just said. She babbles constantly! Now I know how Evelyn felt. No wonder she drove her crazy!
I have to stay until 5:04 to wait for a FedEx pickup. I am such a sap. This'd better get me major brownie points!
That's all the news from Lake Wobegon for now. Back to taking customer complaints...
