It's twenty degrees outside. B-b-b-brrrrrr! I swear the winters are getting colder. It's not logical that global warming would make the winters colder, but there you go. It happens. I'm beginning to see why old people move south. Not that I have any plans to do so, but still. :::shiver:::

What I don't understand are all the people out & about without hats. I don't mean just running to their cars, I mean out for walks. Aren't they cold? Don't they feel like their ears are going to fall off? Eek!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets strange, difficult customers. I can hear Kim complaining about one of hers. Spread the wealth, I say.

This business is almost completely opposite of retail: this is the slow time for us. It's hard to find enough to do. I suppose I could be compiling lists of people to call next month...

Diane had leftover fish for lunch, which she ate at her desk. Consequently, our office smelled like fish. So now we're burning a scented candle, and the office smells like a pine forest.

They have the article about my 'arrest' on the website here, but no picture. Oh well. If I'd known Natasha was going to quote my email in its entirety, I would've attempted to be a bit more eloquent. ;)

I'm almost to the end of the story I've been working on. It's been a tough one; this story wanted to be told, but I wasn't sure just where it wanted to go. I still haven't gotten the ending, but it's almost there. I like it, though, and I like the characters. It's something I'd read if I hadn't written it. :)

I'm trying hard not to edit it as I go, just write. The perfectionist in me (yes, there is one in there somewhere) wants to fix those awkward bits and punctuation. Sometimes I let it, sometimes I just let it go. This is one instance where putting it off until later isn't such a bad thing.
