grumble grumble

I'm trying hard not to be crabby this morning, and not entirely succeeding. At least the drive in wasn't as bad as I was afraid it would be; only a couple of streets were dicey, and the rest were just wet. Fortunately, it had snowed first, so the windshield wasn't as hard to clear. Snow on top of ice is much worse.

Kim is off today. OK, it's because she's taking her husband to chemo, but still. Another Friday that I have to do everything. And beg someone to cover me for lunch. After what she said to me yesterday, I have no sympathy for her. Yes, this is the annoying coworker with whom I have occasional problems. Sigh...

One thing to look forward to: we're getting scallop chowder (delivered!) for lunch. Already placed the order. Yay.

It's acually 38 degrees out now! Of course it started raining, hard, the second I pulled my car into the lot this morning. I just hope it doesn't all freeze before I get home tonight.
