the usual...
Feb. 17th, 2006 03:57 pmOnce again, here I am on a Friday afternoon, awaiting the proof. This time, I'm all alone because Kim had to pick her husband up from his chemo treatment. Thank goodness I have music (and the new Vanity Fair) to amuse me.
From SciFi Wire:
Halle Berry had to write "I will not make Catwoman II" on a chalkboard four times Feb. 16 in order to earn her pudding pot as Harvard's Hasty Pudding woman of the year, the Associated Press reported.
I hope she is appropriately humbled. ;)

OK, just got most of the classifieds. Just waiting now for the Home section. Kim neglected to tell me that she descheduled two Help Wanted ads, so I was searching in vain for the missing ads. Fun.
Didn't sleep again last night. I think the most I got at a stretch was 3 1/2 hours, from 2:30 to 6. I wish this stupid cold would just go away already. I think I'm going to pick up one of those Vick's plug-in thingies on the way home, and see if that helps. I must get some sleep, soon, or I will be majorly cranky.
Went over the line to CT and bought a Powerball ticket, because I sure could use $360 million. Just thinking about all the people I could help makes me all warm & fuzzy inside. Not to mention paying off all my debts; that would be nice. Hey, I know the odds, but it's a nice dream, and it only costs $1. I promised my coworkers I would take them all out to dinner (open bar and everything!) if I won. Hey, I'll take all of you out to dinner, too. :)
I still haven't watched last week's Battlestar Galactica; I've been enthralled with the Olympics 'most every night. I'll probably end up taping it anyway; I have trouble staying up past ten, especially on Friday nights. I'm such an old fogey! So next week, when I'm rich and don't have to work anymore, I can take a nap. ;)
