I woke up to the news that two TV icons of my childhood had passed over: Don Knotts and Darren McGavin. How many of us shivered under the covers after an episode of Night Stalker? And how many giggled over the antics of Barney Fife? Both of them seem somewhat cheesy now, but they are classics that will live on in TV land history. Rest well, guys.
