Mar. 6th, 2006 11:39 amI couldn't possibly write anything better about the Oscars than what I've read on my flist this morning, so I won't even try. Except to say that George Clooney is really yummalicious. And very cool.
I've already pissed off my coworker, Diane, this morning. She and another coworker were discussing "those people" who don't learn English and their weird food is in the grocery store now, ew, when I broke in and said it might behoove them to remember that these are human beings they're talking about, you know. To which they both protested that they never said they weren't, and I said you should hear yourselves from my perspective. And she hasn't said more than she absolutely had to since. Which is fine with me, since she usually babbles constantly, and I don't hear half of it because I can't tell if she's talking to me or is on the phone with one of her daughters again. Did I say she drives me a little nuts? Well, she does.
It's supposed to get up into the sixties by the weekend! That's ever so exciting! I have no plans for the weekend, so it's to the park I go, camera in hand. I tried yesterday, but it was too windy so I wandered around the cemetery next door for a while. An awful lot of trees lost big branches in those windstorms we had last month. The cleanup crew has quite a job ahead of them.
