lizziebelle: (Chalice Well)
We've been getting hit with stealth snow squalls all day, despite the fact that the weatherdude said they wouldn't make it over the Berkshires. I should really know better than to believe them by now, shouldn't I? At least they're brief, and they're not sticking. They confused the heck out of the robins in the park at lunchtime. They'd cock their little heads, as if to say "WTF?" and then go back to squabbling with each other over their little patch of ground, and ignoring the starlings entirely.

I got a call from my listing on Monster.com, and I went to call them at lunch only to find I hadn't charged my cell phone. D'oh! So I picked a time when everyone else was otherwise engaged in the office and called him back. Wouldn't you know, while I was talking they all stopped. D'oh! I don't think anyone figured out what I was up to, hopefully. I have an interview next Tuesday at lunchtime. It's much closer to home, and sounds like it might be interesting. If it pays well, I think I would go for it. I'm just not making enough here, and I'm not happy with the way things are going. I want it to be *my* decision to leave. The job is selling ad space on menus. Could be interesting.

My Norfolk Pine is still looking sad. Some of the branches feel dry, but it has plenty of water. What am I doing wrong? I don't want to kill another one! The last one didn't appreciate the lack of sunlight in my apartment, and half the branches fell off. It finally bit the dust this winter. Should I repot it? Help!

The landscaping ads are coming in fast & furious this week. They all want to be in the Home Improvement pullout next week. Which, yay, means more moolah. I need that!
