It's been blissfully quiet in here today. I've actually had time to call my customers, and one of them even called back to rerun his ad. Go me!

Silly Diane thinks there is a C and a Q in 'Jaguar.' I told her to Google it. "Oh, you're right," she says. Of course I'm right! D'oh! Where in the depths of her brain did that come from? You see what I have to work with? ;)

I got together a whole pile of stuff to sell at the Litha Fair next month. I'm sharing booth space with a couple of people. I have a bunch of books, some CDs, bumper stickers, and a few assorted other items that I never got around to listing on eBay. Maybe I can make a few bucks and treat myself to something, like the new Charles de Lint book that came out today. I haven't been able to treat myself to anything more exotic than chocolate for a while.

My coworker Carolyn, who is the same age as I am, is all excited that Here Come the Brides is coming out on DVD. She was a Bobby Sherman girl. I never even saw that show; I was a David Cassidy girl all the way. I had the albums to prove it. Bobby just seemed so... old. He was probably only in his twenties, but still. I was maybe 10. Keith Partridge was much more my style. At least he was still in school. ;)

They're saying that there will be sunshine tomorrow. I'll believe it when I see it. I've been feeling like I live in Seattle or something. Grey and rainy for over a week. Wasn't it like this last year, too? I seem to remember being sick of the weather. And then it got bloody hot all of a sudden. That's probably what will happen this year, too. It goes straight from cold & rainy to hot & muggy, without any transition period. Just love that New England weather: if you don't like it, wait a minute! Except that I've been waiting about eight days now, and it's still raining...

It finally stopped raining, and the sun actually came out just before I got out of work. We had a meeting at Cymbri's about the Litha festival, and I was treated to a spectacular sunset on the drive home. There was mist rising off the freshly-plowed fields in Southwick. All is good. :)
