I used to be naive; now I'm just jaded
Jul. 20th, 2006 02:25 pmAyiyi, today has been a day. The kind you immediately forget as soon as it's over. Boring, repetitive tasks (renewing the TFNs, making the last of the last run calls) and cranky coworkers do not a happy LizzieBelle make. I didn't even have anything interesting for lunch (except
ccfinlay's book, which was a bright spot in an otherwise dull day). Kim is cranky because she didn't get a bonus check; considering she worked less than half of the quarter, I don't understand how she could possibly have expected one. They also paid her for most of the time she was off out of banked, donated hours, so she's really pushing the greedy limit today. And then I noticed a display ad that she put in under her name which should have gone to me. That pushed me over the edge. Rather than dealing with her prickly highness, I just sent an email off to our boss asking if she could look into it for me. Not in the mood for a catfight.
Ooh, and now she's back from lunch, so I get to hear more sighs and whining. I think I'll take a break now. ;)
