lizziebelle: (sawyer)
Goodness gracious, I can't keep straight what day it is this week. I kept thinking it was Thursday earlier (wishful thinking?) and kept saying so to a customer. I'm sure he thinks I'm a total airhead now. *g*

We were sans internet for a good portion of the day, and I was getting withdrawal pains. I couldn't pop into LJ and check on my friends! What if a potential employer was emailing me?! What is the temperature outside? Eeeeeeeeeee!

But it's all good now. The network is back up, and normalcy is restored.

And hey, the sun is out today! There were too many grey days in a row. It's very nice out right now (76 degrees, thank you Weatherbug!) and I had a pleasant lunch in the park. I even got some writing done! I'm reading O.R. Melling's Hunter's Moon, and it suddenly struck me that the story of Persephone is very similar to stories of Faery abduction, right down to the prohibition against eating & drinking. Yes, I'm just getting that now. So an idea for a story bubbled out of that musing. I love the creative process!
