Well, we're back to grey as the dominant color here in dreary Massachusetts. At least Ernesto decided to go farther west, although PA and NY could probably not use more rain. I hear from [livejournal.com profile] chalkhorse that it's coming down in buckets at Brushwood, where I was just a few weeks ago. She had to cancel her weekend trip there, poor thing! It's not raining here at the moment, but the sky looks as though it could open up at any time. I'm staying inside just in case.

As usual for Saturday, I was up just after the crack of dawn, although I did manage to catch a nap later in the morning. Strange dreams about a giant shopping mall/casino, with actors dressing up as other actors, punctuated my sleep. My sister and brother were with me, on an endless escalator that gave me vertigo. I wonder what Freud would make of that?

I think it's time for a nice cuppa tea and some reading.

You go to the cemetery next door, and take pictures of interesting headstones and monuments! At least, that's what you do if you are me. *g*

I love wandering around the cemetery; it's really old, from before the Civil War, and there are all sorts of interesting things. The hydrangea is in bloom, and there are a few gold leaves amongst the green on some of the trees.
