Early morning walk

I was up literally at the crack of dawn this morning, mostly because I went to bed early last night. Yesterday was a tiring day! There was a lovely, soft mist, and the sun was gilding everything with its slanted rays, so I grabbed my camera and headed out. I got some nice shots of details from gravestones touched by the sun, and some dewy greenery like this clump of lamb's ears. Click the link to see the rest!

Going out walking got my blood moving, and I decided to take advantage of the extra energy and get some stuff done. The second load of laundry is in the washer; next, I tackle the dishes! Who knows what else I can get accomplished today?

After my walk this morning, I did four loads of laundry (and put them away!), washed a sinkful of dishes, and went grocery shopping. I have no idea where all that ambition came from. I think I've pretty much used it up. *g*

In honor of my accomplishments, I plan to be a slug for the rest of the day. I have a George Clooney movie for this evening (One Fine Day) and Pirate Booty to munch. Yarrrrrrr!

OMG, Altoids gum is just too too much. Now I know why it was marked down to 44 cents. It's a cool tin, though; I can always cover it in Sculpey!
