I found out this morning that someone was killed during that storm on Friday down at Heritage Park, where I often go for lunch. They were hit by a rather large limb (possibly from one of the trees in this picture) while sitting on the swings, which are just to the right of this photo. What they were doing out in such a fierce storm, I don't know, but it's spooky. When I went down there today, they were carting away the cut-up remains of the tree limb. It had to be nearly two feet in diameter. I will think about that every time I go down there from now on.
