giving thanks

As much as I complain, I really have a lot to be thankful for. I have a job, a roof over my head, and food in the cupboard. I have a family who loves me, and I love them, even if we annoy each other now and then. I have wonderful friends, even if they are scattered far and wide. I have this magic box called a computer with which I can stay in touch. I live in a country that, despite its problems, is still a place where I can openly be what I am without fear of being burned at the stake. I live in a state where my gay friends can get married if they want to. I am part of this wonderful community, and I've gotten to interact with a lot of fabulous, interesting people that I would never have known about otherwise. I love how supportive this place is! Thank you all for being here for me, and for each other. Happy Thanksgiving!
