My DSL connection popped out last night in the middle of a session, and I never got it back. It was still out this morning. The fact that it happened while I was online makes me suspect it's something on their end, and not my computer, but if it's still out tonight, I will try connecting on my old machine and see what happens. Very annoying, that.

Meanwhile, you lot have been very prolific! I'm catching up in dribs & drabs this morning. Lots of posts on the Lite-Brite terrorists in Boston, and on Molly Ivins. You know, I watched my local news this morning, and there was not one mention of her passing. They're a bit on the provincial side in these parts, but not nearly as bad as central & western NY, at least when I lived there. We're just close enough to a couple of major cities to not be completely a cow town, and just far enough that some of the reporters and weekend anchors are cross-eyed. Literally. It's also, apparently, where Boston weathermen go when their contracts don't get renewed. *g*

My connection is working again! Yay, I can feed my online habit. *g*

I just called my landlord to complain about crazy neighbor's loud stereo. I can hear it over the TV in the living room, which is 3 rooms away. He has the bass turned waaaaay up. I just can't take it anymore! I just want to bang on the walls. He stopped playing it late at night last time I complained, so hopefully I will get some relief. It gives me a headache.

I sold $4,000 over my goal last month! Go me!
