When I opened my shades this morning, I saw these cool icicles on the forsythia bush outside the window, and of course had to run out and take their picture. They're actually really small, and I was pleased that I got a decent close-up of them. I had to perch on top of the ice-encrusted snow to get the shot, and when I turned to slide back down, my butt broke through the ice and left a depression that I'm sure will puzzle passersby. *g*

This is the place where I fell into the snow earlier, after taking the icicle pix. Just for ami_1. *g*

I had to go out and get some quarters so I could do some laundry. It's a pretty, sunny day out, although it's a bit windy. Not unbearably cold though, for a change. I found an unclaimed Sunday Globe on the walkway, and claimed it. Someone here gets the Globe delivered, but never picks it up, so I figured I'm just helping with the litter problem. *g*
