I went down to Heritage Park at lunch, because it's such a nice day out. Not particularly warm, but sunny and cheery. The geese were hanging around, eating the grass, and being typical geese. They chased each other off their little bit of ground, paddled around the growing open water along the ice, and honked a lot. Noisy beasts, geese. Some of them ventured out onto the ice, which is thin enough in spots that they broke through, and I had to giggle at them struggling to get back up.
Thinning ice is a good thing. Another sign of spring.
Just as I finished eating my lunch and fished out my camera, some noob started feeding the birds across the pond, and of course the ones near me had to go investigate, so I didn't get any pictures. Oh well, I probably have quite enough pix of geese. *g*
