I'm getting antsy, because in just a few short hours, I'll be on vacation. It's been a year, and I am ready for a week of not being here. So, so ready.
My mind is buzzing with all the things I have to remember. You know, the last-minute stuff that you can't do ahead of time, like pack the toothbrush & pillow, because you have to use them still. Mustn't forget the pillow! I do, at least, have a travel toothbrush that I can use if I need to. It stays in the permanently packed shower bag.
This time tomorrow, I should be somewhere in the vicinity of Rochester. By midafternoon, we should be there! I'm not especially looking forward to the trip, but I'm very much looking forward to the destination. I'm already there, in my head. Wearing a sarong and drinking a mojito.
