Sep. 21st, 2008 06:22 pmI made it out for a walk this afternoon, which was (to my surprise) very warm & muggy. I guess summer is having one last blast before Autumn arrives tomorrow.
Hey, I just heard a familiar voice coming from the telly, and looked up to see Sheila, the owner of the yoga studio where we have our company meetings. I missed what the story was about, but it looked like they were involved in some event or other. Yay, Sheila!
Anyhoo, it was nice to get out today, and the roses are gorgeous as always. There were a couple of other people there taking pictures, one of whom had a tripod and a card or something to reflect light. I like my snapshots just fine. :)
The sun is going down now, which is a little depressing. I think the thing I dislike most about the end of summer is the alarmingly decreasing daylight. I would never be able to live way up north, for lack of light even more than cold weather. Long summer days wouldn't make up for it, for me.
