The day started out foggy, and turned into a hazy scorcher. Summer, at last. It only took what, seven weeks to get here? The weather keeps getting curiouser and curiouser.

No word today on whether the Governor will be paying us a visit on Wednesday. It would certainly be a feather in our cap if he did, though. I hope, if he comes, that I get to take a picture!

The headache didn't come back today, thank goodness. One day of that was more than enough.

I had some of the chicken salad that I'd planned to bring yesterday for supper, and it was yummy. I chopped up some celery, and added champagne grapes. Nice and refreshing.
