It was cold but sunny this morning, so I went out to capture some more Autumn while I could.

colorful world )

I skipped going to the meet & greet today, because I don't want to drive anywhere I don't have to. However, I may have figured out what was wrong with the car, and may have even fixed it myself. I noticed yesterday that there was a stain on the curb in front of where I park, sort of like an oil leak stain, but not where oil would leak. I got out my owner's manual, and figured out that it had to be either the transmission fluid or the power steering fluid. I popped the hood, checked the AT dipstick (which was fine), opened up the PS reservoir (which was empty - aha!), and walked down to Rite Aid for some PS fluid. Three bucks and a brisk walk later, and the reservoir is full. Cross your fingers that was all it was! If it is, I will take the car to get the leak fixed as soon as I can scrape up the dough. If it isn't, well, I don't want to go there. I'm trying to think positively.

The sun has gone behind the clouds now, but the heat is on, and it's nice & cozy in here. Tomorrow promises to be rainy, and I think it's time to get the sweaters & turtlenecks out of the trunk. That taste of winter we had this week tells me it's time.
