Between my coworker having to leave this morning due to the passing of her father, and the rainy weather, it was a long day trapped inside the office.
Even though it was expected, and possibly even a relief (he had Alzheimer's), poor Kim was a bit of a mess. She was upset because he was alone, but our boss pointed out (and she could be right) that he might have wanted it that way, to spare his family having to witness his passing.
Another soul to pass through the veil this weekend. Safe journey, and blessed be.
