I had a lousy morning at work today, with a customer who has pulled a fast one on us before insisting that the bill he got was bogus, and they yet again let him get away with it. He's learned that if he goes to my boss and tells a sob story, they write it off. He is no longer my problem, however, as they have assigned him to someone else (who lives on his street and uses his services), and I say Good Riddance.

Just as he was walking in the door, I was on the phone with another customer (this one wasn't mine) who was upset that his ad hasn't appeared on the website, and wouldn't take an apology or tell me what he wants me to do for him.

*sigh*

Strike three was another customer, again not mine, whose ad hasn't been in for two weeks and he was demanding to know why. As the person who handles his account is off Mondays, I couldn't tell him, but I did my best to fix it, and my boss later thanked me for helping him.

Things got better after lunch, thank goodness. I got a lot of work done, and a coworker brought me a slice of strawberry rhubarb cake with crumb topping. It was just what I needed.

I took a nice walk in the sunshine after work, and found lots of pretty flowers. That was also just what I needed. :)
