There were treasures to be found in the world today, and I found a few of them.
This morning, I walked over to Grandmothers' Garden, where I found flowers aplenty.
After lunch, I walked down to Stanley Park and the wildlife sanctuary, where I found this frog ( and other treasures )
A young woman ran by me three times out in the woods, and on the third pass she asked me the way out. *g*
Another woman was taking pictures of the yellow lady's slippers, and I started up a conversation with her about them. It turns out she was there to give a lecture on planting for wildlife, but only two people showed up. There was a wedding in the rose garden, and graduation across the street, so it's no wonder. She was enamored of the place, and I told her the best places to see. I'm sure she'll be back. After all, the place is full of treasures. :)
