it's coming

Not only was it not cold today, it was almost warm. In the 50's at least. The huge piles of snow receded noticeably. It was very pleasant.

I've lived here long enough to know that winter isn't over, but I can hear its gasps as it dies its long death, and I can feel the green beneath the greying white begin to stir and flex, getting ready to assert dominance once again.
