good for a change

Things aren't all bad. Yesterday was actually quite nice, despite the gloomy skies. It was still in the fifties at 8:00 last night, so I took a walk around the block to look at the neighbors' Christmas light displays. It was strange, but lovely.

Today it was even more gloomy and rainy, but I had a pretty good day at work. Coworkers gave me brownies and gingerbread men. I sold three ads into a home improvement block page, and thereby won a contest for my team. Since we won, we get a $20 bonus for each ad. The other team has only managed to sell one ad on their page (between the four of them). I rubbed it in a little, because I so rarely have the chance to rub anything in. *g*

When I came home, I had a lovely picture card of Virginia the Boston terrier from eldritchhobbit and a package from bettyw waiting for me. My friends are the best!

I'm not even going to think about the snow that's expected overnight. O_o
