the great outdoors
Sep. 29th, 2013 06:10 pmI went with a couple of friends to Old Frog Pond Farm in Harvard, Mass. yesterday to do the sculpture walk through the woods and around the pond. The place is an organic orchard, which is nice, and the art was cool, especially in the natural setting.

It was fun to go out and do something different.
This morning, I woke up to thick fog, so I took a walk over to the river.
( eerily beautiful )
After the sun came out and it warmed up a bit, I went over to Gates Pond for a walk before doing my grocery shopping.

The trees are starting to get colorful. By next weekend, they should be glorious.
It was good to get outside. It feels like I've been fighting off something for a few days, feeling run down. Nature is energizing.
After I got home, I was stuck inside for a while because the bee guy came to deal with the yellow jacket nest outside my apartment. I have to use the back door in my bedroom for a day or so in case there's still some angry bugs hanging around. All I can say is, yikes.
