I'm very excited about the Pipes in the Valley festival today! It looks like it will be a bit chilly, but dry. It was 36 degrees when I got up this morning. Eek! Must dress in layers.
Tomorrow is not looking quite as good; they've got rain predicted. This is the first time there won't be spectacular weather for Pagan Pride Day. I hope people come anyway. There will be a few folks there I am looking forward to seeing, and hopefully I canunload sell some stuff.
I slept a bit better last night, due in part to the new pillow I bought at Job Lot yesterday on the way home. It's a faux down, gusseted pillow, and it seems to be better at supporting my neck. I wish I could afford one of those Tempur-pedic ones (and the mattress pad as well); I suspect that would be much better.
Last night was the premiere of the new Doctor Who, and I managed to stay awake for most of it. I did tape it, though, because I knew I couldn't stay awake until 10:30. I giggled at the Arthur Dent reference. And the "Tell the President he is not my boss" line. That was pretty bold. I was disappointed, though, that she went ahead and blew up the aliens anyway.
Oy, they're saying we're getting a big freeze next week. Time to dig out the warmer clothes! Speaking of which, I need to get off my butt and start getting ready. Have a wonderful weekend, all!
