the glory of nature

lizziebelleI had a nice walk at Stanley Park today. I went out into the wildlife sanctuary first, where the leaves were mostly gone and everything was brown and rust.
There was still some color around:
I saw some deer!
There was lots of milkweed:
and this cool fuzzy stuff that looks like aliens or deep sea creatures:
Pretty leaves:
and thorn apples (check out the thorns!)
The sun was bright on the river:
and lots of beautiful trees:
(does that last one look familiar,

The geese were vocal, and mobile:
It's so pretty there!
