I made it out to the Meet & Greet today, and I'm glad I did. It's good to get out of the house, and I saw a couple of friends I haven't seen in a while. Got some pretty disturbing news from two of them, though: one was injured by some falling boxes at Walmart (I resisted making a smart remark about shopping there), and another's wife left him. Oy. I so did not see that coming. I always thought they made such a great couple, and I like them both a lot.
I wanted to stay later and chat with everyone, but I knew that if I didn't go to the movie today, I would probably not make it, and I really wanted to see Coraline in 3D, so I left. I couldn't talk anyone into going with me. Oh, well!
They charge you $3.50 for the glasses, then ask you to recycle them in a bin afterward, but I kept mine. I'd have given them back if they'd refunded my $3.50. Don't ask me what I'm going to do with them! Save them for a costume or something. Maybe wear them on bonfire night this summer. They're the height of geek fashion:

I liked the movie a lot. The 3D is done really well, not obnoxious or distracting. The sets are amazing, very colorful and whimsical. I've read that they changed the story a bit, but it's been long enough since I read it that I didn't really notice. The cast were all really good, well suited for their roles. Very enjoyable, and recommended. It gets the LizzieBelle seal of approval. *g*
For tonight, I have the very romantic movie, The Incredible Hulk. *g*
