Here's a pic from that carnival yesterday. The merry-go-round was always my favorite ride when I was a kid; I'd get motion sickness on most of the bigger rides, so this was just my speed. I still won't go on roller coasters. Which is funny really, because I like going fast. I just don't like going upside down or around & around.

I'm loving the weather this week: sunny and in the 70's by day, and cool at night. Good walking and sleeping weather. I intend to do plenty of both in the next 24 hours.

Sending vibes for safety to those of you in the L.A. area. I hope they get that fire under control soon! A Facebook friend in that neck of the woods reports that the smoke makes it hard to breathe. I hope you're all OK, and stay that way!
