Another restaurant that owes us money and is going out of business, another after-work free-food free-for-all. This time it was Onyx, also down by the B'ball Hall of Fame. We sat at the bar again, and the bartender (whose name is Bob, I was told) was really good. I asked if they had Bass Ale, and he said that they didn't, but he poured something into a small glass and told me to try it. It was really good, so I had one. It was Harpoon Celtic Ale. Yum.

We had several different appetizers, all of which (except for the calamari, which always tastes like rubber bands to me) were excellent. Too bad they're going out. Not that I could afford to go there, but still. I hate to see local businesses fail.

And hey, I didn't have to make supper.

The gull was down at the park at lunchtime, too shy to come over and grab a piece of corn chip that I'd tossed out for him. What a chicken.
