Happy Yule! Blessed Solstice!
Dec. 21st, 2006 03:32 pmTonight is the longest night of the year. After today, the days start getting longer! No wonder so many cultures celebrate a holiday this week. :)
We're laying out the paper today instead of tomorrow (because we have to send it out tomorrow to the printer), and it's going to be a thin one. Really not a big week for our advertisers. Of course, a couple of people called to put an ad in after the deadline, but in the spirit of the season (and because Beth hadn't started laying them out yet), I let them get their ads in.
I have no idea what we're going to do tomorrow. We're only here until noon, but if the classifieds are done, there's not a whole lot for us to do. It's really not a great time to call potential advertisers. I think we should just sip mimosas and play cards or something. *g*
