Taking a momentary break from packing for camp. I've filled both totes, the trunk of the car, and most of the back seat as well. I have a few more little things to pack, and then I'll be done. I think. I'm never sure I have everything, even with a packing list. There's always something that gets forgotten. That's why we do a town run on Sunday, to get food and all the little things that got left at home. I'm positive that I have my tent, mattress, blankets, and lots of warm clothing. Those are the most important items, the things I have nightmares about forgetting. I've had many a dream where I find myself at Brushwood with no tent, or no clothes, or a flat mattress. I also have plenty of sunscreen, my boots, and a towel. I'll be safe from the ravenous bugblatter beast of whosie-whatsit. I got my car's oil changed today, and filled the tank.

Heard from [livejournal.com profile] textiletart today that she and [livejournal.com profile] ned_gasket will not be arriving until Sunday, and will miss the wedding. Since they also have the kitchen set-up, alternate arrangements had to be made. I believe the kitchen is now coming with Lori. It's a bummer that they'll have to miss Chuck & Danica's nuptuals; that's going to be a high point, I'm sure. I'm still not sure what I'm going to wear.

There will be a quick jaunt to CVS tomorrow for the bug-o-bucket that I forgot to get, because I just don't feel like going out again tonight. Oh, and I'll need one of those long, clicky lighters, too (tiki torches!). I did remember to hit the post office on the way home to have my mail held. I'm charging up the phone and the spare camera batteries. I've packed [livejournal.com profile] ccfinlay's book, and I have Jim Butcher's Fool Moon on CD. I have a notebook and a purple pen with which to write, and story ideas galore.

Squee! In approximately 36 hours, I will be there!!!

I will attempt my first phone post from camp on Friday. I will try to make it through the day tomorrow without dying of squee. Wish me luck!
