My walk today took me down to the lower part of the cemetery and its surrounding neighborhoods. I rarely go down to that part of the cemetery, and I've never really walked around that neighborhood before. Just down the hill from some grand old Victorians lie streets full of early seventies ranches and cookie-cutter postwar boxes (made out of ticky-tacky, and they all look just the same). The sounds of autumn were in the air: a football game, leaf blowers, squirrels scrambling for acorns and chittering at passersby. While cloudy and grey, the rain is holding off for now and I had a pleasant stroll. Clicky for more pictures!
