lizziebelleI'm all alone, all day today. I hate when that happens. I'm even looking forward to the bad book I'm reading at lunch, just for a break. Don't ask me why I'm reading a bad book, because I'm not quite sure myself. It was there, I picked it up, I didn't have anything else to read at the moment. It happens.
Occasionally people come out here (and invariably say, "Oh, all alone today?"), and I get a few moments of conversation. Most of the phone calls today, though, have been cranky people. Why do people start out a conversation, with the person unlucky enough to answer the phone, with an attitude? I guess their mothers never told them that they get more flies with honey than with vinegar. These are probably the same people who go through red lights and cut you off on the highway.
Oh dear, I'm rambling now. Must eat soon.
