interesting meeting

lizziebelleOur company meeting was this morning, and it was unusual and even kind of fun. One of the things I really like about this place is that our meetings are held in the yoga studio next door, and Sheila (the owner of the studio) always has us do breathing & relaxing beforehand. Usually, though, out come the numbers and the doom & gloom. Not this time! Before the meeting started, Barb had us all put our names on slips of paper and put them in a basket. Uh-oh, we thought, what is it this time? All I could think of was The Lottery. Heh.
After the breathing & stretching, she then said we weren't going to do numbers today ("Yay," we all said). Instead, we were to pull a name out of the basket, and say three nice things about that person. Which actually worked rather nicely, and everyone left the meeting feeling good instead of stressed. :)
