It's been a weird day, did I mention that? I've had two customers flirt with me over the phone (one invited me to a Halloween party -his name is Rafael, I was tempted- and the other threatened promised to bring me flowers). I think the weather is making them crazy. Oh, and as
anghara brought up, it's Mercury retrograde. *sigh* It hasn't helped that I'm still running on a sleep deficit. Even witnessing an accident didn't faze me.
They had to turn on the heat because it's been pretty chilly in the mornings, but it's gorgeous now so we have the windows open. Fresh air is so nice. I ate my lunch outside, finishing the new Stephanie Plum book. Love her. Literary popcorn. I don't even care if it's the same thing every time, they're just fun.
One unforeseen advantage to being the first phone to ring when people call the paper is that I get to the customers first. If they're new, they're mine. Bwahahahaha! Sure, I'm taking a lot of tag sale ads, but those $16 babies can add up. *g*
ETA Here's a fun little article about an Elvis-impersonating priest.
