I've reread many books over the years, but nearly every time I was disappointed. The books had lost their magic the second time around.
At the library yesterday, I grabbed The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova for a reread. I have to say that I'm finding it just as enchanting on a second read. She drew me right back into the story, even though I know how it turns out. Now that's a good writer. :)
Which books have you loved on a reread? Which ones disappointed?
