lizziebelleA couple of people have spotted mountain lions in the Berkshires (not so very far from where I live!), but the authorities are highly doubtful. WTF? It's not like they're reporting a bigfoot sighting. There have been plenty of sightings next door in Vermont. I don't know about you, but I would have no trouble distinguishing a mountain lion from a bobcat.
Speaking of bigfoot, did you know that there's a press conference today to unveil the body of a bigfoot found in Georgia? (As of this time, the website is down, most likely because the press conference is going on at this very moment) Our editor Mike has the press release on his blog (and he chastises me for bursting his bubble by sending him the link to the Museum of Hoaxes site debunking it, but then he promised me shotgun in the van ;)). He's a big cryptozoology buff (you *know* Monster Quest is required watching in his house), so he was all excited by the press release.
