I just got a little insight into the thought processes of a candidate, as a local fellow who is running for state rep planned out his ad strategy for the next month with me. It's something I've never been as involved in before, as what usually happens is they just call or come in and place an ad or three, but I don't get to see the whole process with campaign manager in tow and budget guy on the phone. The guy's not only a Republican, but not in my district, so he isn't likely to ever get my vote. My coworker is handling his competition, and we had to go into the conference room so it would be confidential. No problem! I wouldn't talk about it, anyway. Honestly, it wouldn't even have occurred to me. I told him that I dislike dirty politics, and he said that he did, too.

Anyhoo, it was interesting to see. And he's spending nearly $4K, so, woo hoo! That makes my month. *g*
