I'm watching the fires in Southern California on the news, and in the corner of the screen there's a graphic with "Tornado Watch" flashing for the Berkshires, which is about 20-30 miles west of here. Yikes! It's freakishly warm for mid-November; the display at the bank said 68 degrees a little while ago as I passed it. At 6:00, after dark. Weird. At least the deluges didn't happen while I was out & about, so I made it to the library and B&N without getting drenched.

We decided (at my suggestion) to have the meet & greet elsewhere (and elsewhen) next month, since the third Saturday will be the 20th, which is not only the Saturday before Christmas, but the same day as most covens' Yule. Someone volunteered to host a potluck at their house on the Sunday before, which will be much nicer than trying to find a parking spot near the mall on a Saturday in December, let alone a table at the café. Hooray for reasonable Pagans. :)

I hope you all are safe and dry (and wildfire-free) this strange Saturday evening.
