Looks like we got 4-5" of the white stuff. Light & fluffy, though, not the slushy stuff we got the other day.
Plow guy finally came around noon, so I dutifully went out to brush off & move my car. He jokingly asked if I had ordered the snow; I said that no, I'd rather it went to ski country, but what are you gonna do? I actually don't mind the snow as long as I don't have to drive in it, which I didn't. And it is rather pretty, especially now that the sun has come out.
I walked over to Grandmothers' Garden, where the snow mounded on benches and bushes. There were a bunch of people across the street at the Voc Tech high school, sledding down its front slope. They looked like they were having a lot of fun. I cringed whenever any of the kids went too close to the road, though. The hill ends right at the sidewalk, which was still icy under a layer of snow. Cars were sensibly going slowly on that stretch.
For now, I'm just enjoying the sunshine coming in the window. :)
