The freezing rain we had at the end of the storm yesterday left everything coated with ice, and the sun came out for a bit today to light it all up like cut crystal. I ran outside with my camera at lunchtime to capture some of it, of course. :)
I love the clacky sound the branches make as they brush each other in the breeze, like beads.
The roads weren't too bad this morning, all things considered. Oh, and the regular plow guy came by last night around 8:30, so I got my car cleared of ice and moved, which was a good thing. The ice on the one window I didn't clear was thick and on there like glue this morning, and I don't know if I could have gotten my car out of that spot. Everything was frozen solid this morning in my parking lot. I could've skated the length of it!
