Despite a poor night's sleep caused by post-nasal drip (hello, cold coming on), I made myself get out this morning while it was still relatively cool, and was rewarded with a lovely stroll through the rose garden at the park. I like going there on weekdays, when it's relatively deserted compared to the weekend. They had a big banner advertising their 60th anniversary bash on the 16th (and those of you who will be in this neck of the woods for the wedding that weekend: wanna come?), but today it was mostly just me and the landscapers.

Now, I need to get cracking on the laundry, and clean up the living room for the cable guy coming later this afternoon. Must stow camping stuff elsewhere until I can get it to mom's for storage, or at least get it out of the way.
